- Maintain a 3.0 GPA at their previous institution
Application processThe application process must be completed by March 15, 2012. To apply, you must complete: - An essay outlining how you have demonstrated leadership. The essay should be no more than two pages.
- A professional résumé demonstrating key accomplishments and contributions.
- A recommendation from a non-relative about how you demonstrate one of Indiana Tech’s core values: respect, commitment, honesty, passion, or integrity.
- Interview, if deemed necessary.
Additional requirements - Applicants must complete the FAFSA and meet financial aid deadlines each year to be awarded the scholarship.
- Deposits must be made by May 1.
- Applicants who fail to complete leadership projects may not be awarded the scholarship in subsequent years.
- Presidential Scholars must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. If the GPA is lower than 3.0 for two consecutive semesters, the student’s scholarship will be eliminated. However, if the student raises the GPA to the accepted level, the scholarship may be restored.
